MICHAEL GRIMES

Michael joins the Someday team as an operations and financial executive, maintaining the health of the service of Someday. He works professionally as a Center Manager for FedEx Kinko’s and creatively as a music producer and dj. His history includes performing as the singer and guitarist in the avant garde, experimental band Blark, and mixing techno and house records for private parties, and in various clubs around Portland.

Opening Someday is an opportunity for me to change what I’ve experienced with venues as a performer by opening a venue that adequately appreciates the talent that makes the space what it is. We truly want to be at the forefront of promoting underground talent to the next level. We will do this by treating performers as the center of the Viva L’ Arte mission and connecting them to the people who will support them through all available avenues to us."
