GRAB BAG #3: Susan Ploetz and Khaela Maricich migrate their occasional review of works in progress to the welcoming shores of Someday Lounge.
GRAB BAG #3 will feature new work by Sarah Shapiro (new music and video from upcoming solo album), Alicia McDaid and Greg Arden (Russian disco lounge dance-along), Mary Christmas ("Trancendental Love War"—participatory instruction on conscious losing), Colin Beatty (reads aloud from a clothing catalog, with special focus on the characters' emotional states), and Scout Niblett (Yet undisclosed offering).
Sarah Shapiro is a local direcor/producer/aninmator/filmmaker/musician/artist. She makes music as a solo project, and also in the band New England Roses with JD Samson and BARR. Her violently terrifying embroidered emails and text messages have been displayed at White Columns Gallery in New York, Firehouse Gallery Brooklyn, Space 1026 in Philadelphia and at New Image Art in LA as part of the LTTR group show.
