PHASE ONE: WORDS + MUSIC: The Phase One series has had a remarkable first year, hosting eminent figures in both the literary and musical undergrounds and inspiring a loyal scene of followers eager to see what's next in curator Garett Strickland's plan for his chamber of the NW Art Scene. February 15th marks the anniversary of the first-ever Phase One, held at The Towne Lounge in 2006, with another jaw-dropping line-up and big plans for Year Two.

About the artist
Daughter to a Singer and a Photo Journalist, Ora's house was also a recording studio and her Family played host to a constant stream of musicians and travelers. Ora started writing songs and performing at 12. Ora has picked up a few instruments along the way and has shared stages with many artists including: Po' Girl, Carolyn Mark and The Be Good Tanyas. This spring Ora recorded the album, "Tatter" featuring Frazey Ford & Trish Klein of the Be Good Tanyas. Ora Cogan is now based in Vancouver, BC.
