CACOPHONY: An evening spotlighting those revisionist musical forms often referred to as “experimental”, curated by Mr. Ogo Eion. Noise, ambient, drone, neo-classical, glitch, power electronics, improvisation, etc. Featured artists for this month include, Scard, Behalf, Power Circus, Noise Poet Nobody with Briana Chittenden, Fawn, Nostalgia, and Cult of Zir, with live visuals by Mouth of Infinity.
This solo project of Jasin Fell (Popewyrm, Gashdig, Hitting Birth) has been known to traverse both the violent territory of power noise, as well as melancholy realms of self-coined "Black Ambient".
Experimental, though not entirely improvisational, Fawn deploys as much vintage equipment as possible, ranging from casio keyboards, to vintage tape reels, and a near 30 year old drum machine.
Only one thing about Fawn is certain. You never know what you will get, but you will certainly know it when you get it.
