CACOPHONY: An evening spotlighting those revisionist musical forms often referred to as “experimental”, curated by Mr. Ogo Eion. Noise, ambient, drone, neo-classical, glitch, power electronics, improvisation, etc.
Featured artists for this month include, 15 Degrees Below Zero, Critical Theater, Dead/Bird, Argumentix, Soup Purse, Forrest Friends and Aubrey Birdwell, with 8mm & 16mm film projection by Jay Blohm.
About the artist
Critical Theatre was born in the totalitarian state of Sacramento, California in February 2000. The first project of Critical Theatre was a photo shoot featuring myself, Maxwell and Sunny of Leporidae fame. C.T. was founded to be an artistic vehicle of many medias for the expression of frustrations, ecstacy, sexuality, exorcisms and deprogramming rituals. However, music is the main way of expression, often manifesting in death-industrial, rust metal, noise, dark ambient, etc.
