PHASE ONE: WORDS + MUSIC: The Phase One series has had a remarkable first year, hosting eminent figures in both the literary and musical undergrounds and inspiring a loyal scene of followers eager to see what's next in curator Garett Strickland's plan for his chamber of the NW Art Scene. February 15th marks the anniversary of the first-ever Phase One, held at The Towne Lounge in 2006, with another jaw-dropping line-up and big plans for Year Two.

About the artist
Cat Tyc is a writer/videomaker whose work has shown at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Anthology Film Archives, Camac Centre d'Art in Paris, the High Energy Constructs gallery in Los Angeles and the Portland Art Center in Oregon.
