About the artist
Part time JiRC, Full time weirdo Carl Diehl has been investigating the outer regions of the videosphere for anomalous life. Recent research has led him to the "Blobsquatch," a variety of bi-pedal humanoid first reported three years ago and believed by Diehl to be llinked to the malfunction, glitch, accident and aberration-known cryptids of the technocultural realms. The Blobsquatch is a welcome personification, so to speak, of these marvelous creatures and perhaps the missing link between the cryptozoological and technological. It is Diehl's contention that catching a Blobsquatch, or related cryptid, requires baiting the creature's native habitat. Staged accidents, cine-molecular sabotage and kinetic engineering have all been employed in the videosphere with varied levels of sucess..
