CACOPHONY
About the artist
CACOPHONY is the curatorial project of Ogo Eion, a recent addition to the Portland Underground Arts Organizer Family. Mr. Eion’s focus for the time being is on the edges of experimental electronic music – noise, ambient, drone, glitch, neo-classical, multimedia, sound installation, and all forms of auditory deconstruction.
One of the first performances to occupy the Someday space between its life as a storage room full of trash and its life as a classy nightclub, CACOPHONY has since moved erratically from space to space over a year’s frenetic and revelatory shows.
CACOPHONY will convene only once per month, to allow one’s eardrums the requisite time to heal and the neural pathways to resume normal functioning. Fear not – your taste is stronger than you think.
